What information do we need to provide for the Productivity Benchmark analysis?

Preferably a list of all your cost centers with the following columns: cost center code, name, negotiated number of full time staff, building area used by this cost centre, typical production of the cost center. For more detailed information, please read more here. If you are not sure whether your dataset will do, please don’t hesitate to call. Our consultant will help you getting the correct datasets and additional data.

 

How long takes the Productivity Benchmarking project?

Approximately 4 to 6 weeks from begin to end.

We have outsourced certain activities. Can we still compare?

Yes, the non outsourced activities can still be compared. The outsourced activities can be benchmarked as well, except a few activities like security. Please register here and check our Codebook for more information.

Being the only university hospital in my region, can someone track my data?

No, in Hospital benchmark data of peers is anonymous. Furthermore, the use of hospital benchmark is permitted only to those you decide to. Hospital benchmark prevents non-authorized guests from seeing the data user passwords and codes. 

We would like to use the indicators, but our organization can technically not provide you with the required data. Can we join the benchmark?

No, the results of hospital benchmark are solely used for participating hospitals.

We only want to benchmark certain departments (e.g. wards, radiology). Can we join?

Yes, it is possible to benchmark with a limited number of departments. Please contact us for more information.
