The main output for Hospital Benchmark is the productivity comparison, as shown in picture 1. This graph for example tells you that compared to average, your hospital has too many FTE’s at the surgery care/obstetrics and emergencies and treatment departments (see red marked circles in picture 1).

The first goal for your hospital could be to bring these departments to the average.

To see in detail where there is any potential to improve in the section emergencies and treatments, you need, as shown in picture 2, to open this section. Then the lower graph, as shown in picture 2, appears. As you can see the main problem can be found at the Emergency Room (ER).

You can further analyze this department by clicking the "details" button:
It will show you the following details (see picture 3):

This view shows that you have 25.2 FTE working on ER (Column: “My FTE”). The Benchmark average is only 18 FTE (Column: “Benchmark”), based on your production of 14.000 ER visits (see red circle in picture 3). This means that you have a potential of 7.2 FTE in the ER departement (Column:”Potential”).
